Always...Patsy Cline extended to 10/30 at Sierra Madre Playhouse

Always...Patsy Cline, has become a run away success at the Sierra Madre Playhouse.  Best play in terms of attendance, reviews and nominations in the Playhouse's nearly 100 year history. The musical is a story of Patsy's life played out through the memories of her #1 fan, Louise Seger.

As you might know Paul VanDorpe here on the street is President of the Board of Directors for the Playhouse and I too serve on the Board.  We are so very pleased to announce the extension of the the play's closing yet again.  The hard close we can't go any longer is October 30.  Buy your tickets early as the performances tend to sell out early.  Buy Tickets Here.

Always Patsy Cline opens at Sierra Madre Playhouse July 31

I'll be the first to admit I didn't know really who Patsy Cline was.  Her story is compelling, the first country artist to cross over to mainstream pop.  She did songs like Walking after Midnight and a few others that I had heard but never paid attention too.

The play falls on the 50th anniversary of her untimely death.  The story is told from a friends point of view and their letters back and forth over the course of a few years.   The title comes from how she always ended her letters, "Always- Patsy Cline"

Tickets are available now at the Sierra Madre Playhouse site or by calling 626-355-4318.
