2012 CLICK IT OR TICKET CAMPAIGN
The
Monrovia Police Department will be participating in the 2012 National Click It
or Ticket Mobilization Campaign, May 21 - June 3. To support national
efforts to make Click It or Ticket a success, the Office of Traffic Safety has
asked traffic and patrol officers from every agency to join departments across California
to prepare for maximum high-visibility seatbelt enforcement both day and
night. So buckle up, because seatbelts save lives.
"You can help protect your friends and family
when you lead by example and remind others to buckle up. It turns out 9 out of
10 people fasten their seatbelt when asked to do so - so speak up and buckle
up, every time on every trip." - Advice from the National Highway
of Traffic Safety Administration.
