Disaster Preparedness help from the city

This nifty application makes it possible to sign up for classes with the city to be disaster prepared.  With El Nino storms approaching maybe its time to sign up for one.  Share with our elderly or disabled neighbors so they are aware others can and will check on them in the event of a disaster.

We're lucky enough to be on a slope so pooling water won't be posing a flood problem.  We're also lucky enough to not be below a burn area so we should fare well through the stroms this week and in the coming months.  Isn't it great to be facing down rain instead of drought for a change?

To apply for either helping or being on a help list simply click on the application and print out the larger size and deliver to the Monrovia Fire Department.
