I just got this via nixle RE a hazmat spill and shelter in place order. The affected area is near Duarte/Myrtle.
The Monrovia Fire Department has issued a Shelter in Place order for
all residents and employees in the Railroad Avenue area due to a HazMat
spill at 146 Railroad Avenue. HazMat crews are on scene to identify the
unknown chemical off gassing into the area and treat patients feeling
ill.

Residents and employees are encouraged to stay updated by logging on to www.cityofmonrovia.org or texting 91016 to 888777.
