I'll be the first to admit I didn't know really who Patsy Cline was. Her story is compelling, the first country artist to cross over to mainstream pop. She did songs like Walking after Midnight and a few others that I had heard but never paid attention too.
The play falls on the 50th anniversary of her untimely death. The story is told from a friends point of view and their letters back and forth over the course of a few years. The title comes from how she always ended her letters, "Always- Patsy Cline"
Tickets are available now at the Sierra Madre Playhouse site or by calling 626-355-4318.
